RAMQUIP · GALVANIZED HANDLING SYSTEMS

Sheep and Goat Handling Equipment

Start with a working alley. Add a funnel, tub, lead-up pen, and sorting pens to build a handling setup that fits your space and the way you manage your flock.

Plan Your Setup Explore Panels and Gates

One system. Room to grow.

RamQuip’s galvanized panels and gates can be combined in different layouts. Choose a basic alley for everyday handling, or add the components you need to gather animals, guide them into the alley, and separate them into pens. The examples below show how a setup can grow step by step.

Optional Fold-Down Alley Panels

The optional solid alley panel with a fold-down upper section provides easier access to the sheep’s head and makes it easier to reach over the side of the working alley. These photos show the fold-down panel on the handler’s side of the alley, with the regular solid alley panel on the opposite side.

A Guillotine Gate at the Rear

Place a guillotine gate at the rear of the alley to control entry into the working area. The gate lifts vertically, with the rope extending to the operating position.

Pair the rear gate with a rolling stop gate at the front to organize movement through the alley.

Connect Your Working Area to Your Pens

Use a two-way sort gate and rail panels to arrange receiving pens around the end of your alley. The right layout depends on your available space, entry points, and the groups you need to keep separate.
